    Limited edition of 15 original drawings by Simon Kirby (simonkirby.net/shop). Custom software, drawing robot, sepia ballpoint pen on yupo paper. 30 x 30cm unframed. Each piece is a pen drawing, not a print. The top and bottom of the drawing trace elements of the landscape in Tentsmuir and Dunwich where the recordings for this album were made. Towards the middle of page, these elements are gradually distorted by field recordings captured in those locations.

'almanac for a sanguine solstice I' is the documentation of two synchronised journeys on the 2020 winter solstice, separated by 400 miles on Britain's east coast. Amplified by untrained, fragile voices, Mark and Callum sacrifice different melodies while gradually allowing the influence of their surroundings to control their song.
